Why does it matter?
You should earn the right to be senior. Make senior championship much more competitive too.
The senior championship is really competitive
intermediate , na gaeil won junior in 2019 so intermediate in 2020
There are 5 vibrant GAA clubs, 4 football 1 hurling within the urban boundary in Tralee, 3 and 1 is the equivalent figure in Killarney. You will struggle to find that elsewhere in the country in equivalent size towns. Portlaoise has one club for example
32 teams is causing fixtures chaos in tipp. Has to change.
Itâs chaos but everyone seems to love it
Not really. Tipp got to an All Ireland this year and there wasnât really any issues with getting finished on time
Na Gaeil had the biggest representation on the Kerry starting 15 in the AIF replay. May already have surpassed John Mitchels to be in the big 3 and closing in on the others. Younger population up their end of the town
The dual clubs just need to forget about it though with midweek games.
Yeah but thatâs going to happen whether Senior B is called intermediate or not.
Youâve been destroyed.
Get rid of divisional championships, a relic of the past.
I think in a county like Kerry they are crucial to keeping small clubs going. Itâs different in every county. Some countries used to use them to develop younger players from smaller clubs for inter county purposes. I think with the colleges and development squads that isnât required anymore.
Agree but if you said that in north Kerry I would fear for your safety
Divisional championships are great. You wouldnât get it if you arenât from Tipp
The boys in Emmetts take them very seriously
Why are rural GAA clubs in Kerry so shit in comparison to other counties?
When did the junior championship all Ireland start? Kerry have won 9 since 02. So hardly shit.
Contrast Dublin to Kerry.
The 33rd best clubbin Dublin represent them at intermediate level. The 25th best club in Kerry represent them at junior level. Tyrone and Mayo would have their 33rd best club representing them at junior level.
Do you see any differences between Dublin and Kerry.
