The only person engaging in whataboutery is you by referring to David Quinn.
The facts of the case have been explained ad nauseum on the thread and they donât make pretty reading for the anti-Sinn Fein fanatics.
Adams has been consistent and up front. Cahill and the people that are (badly) advising her havenât and have tied themselves in knots.
No, comparing you to David Quinn isnât whataboutery- it a comparison. Whataboutery is Padraig maclochlainn on RTE 1 on Friday responding to questions about it by bizarrely querying the right of journalists to investigate the issue by bringing up an indo journalists job loss. Itâs SF supporters complaining about Kenny meeting Cahill over other rape victims as if that somehow lessens the need for them to clarify the sequence of events.
You repeating yourself isnât explaining anything in relation to these matters, no matter how nauseating a style you post in.
Sport to watch now - please continue your media monitoring & rebuttal service in my absence using whichever username/persona you choose appropriate.

Yeah, itâs a shit comparison. Padraig MacLochlainn didnât question Martina Devlinâs or the Indoâs right to investigate anything. I donât question Fox Newsâs right to investigate anything - but in a serious news investigation itâs important to know what and where your sources are coming from. The facts donât change - unlike the made up rubbish thatâs aimed at Gerry Adams. That changes every day. You can do that when you make stuff up.
Caught a bit of Belfast solicitor Peter Madden on Morning Ireland. He was saying that he a copy of a letter than Maria Cahill wrote to the IRA Army Council insisting that they investigate her rape claims.
The presenter was rattled when he started reading extracts from it.
Sinn Fein must be fairly confident in their position the way they are allowing this story to rumble on.
Kenny will come off the worse from this yet.
yep, all he could say he wasnt aware of itâs existence and the lad kept saying its a matter for public record as its in the courts document
Gemma OâDoherty (who was shafted by the Irish Independent that time for reporting on Martin Callinanâs quashed penalty points) is on the case on twitter. Iâm placing my faith in Gemma to get to the bottom of this.
I heard that geek Simon Harris repeatedly using the term âSinn FĂŠin/IRAâ in a radio interview the other day. Is that what Fine Gael are reduced to? Itâs pathetically reminiscent of the little barbs DUP used to go on with 15 years ago before they got on with power sharing.
It seems two more victims of the IRA paedophile/rapist have emerged. Both under 16 when attacks took place apparently. Not sure where that leaves everything. DPP in the north seem to have made a complete bollix of it in any event.
Write âGerry Adams is an electoral liabilityâ 100 times on a sheet of paper (preferably Eilis OâHanlonâs column from last weekâs Sunday Independent) and then shove it up your arse.
