The Irish Government have been pushing for an inquiry into the Dublin Monaghan bombings, donāt you read the news?

I have no doubt there were some in the British security service who would have liked to bump Charlie off. If there is anything to it, I would like to see it investigated as part of a wideranging inquiry into British security forces collusion with the Provisional IRA and Loyalists. Much like Iād like to see Jarry come out and speak a bit of truth for once in his life.

Pursue justice for the Dublin Monaghan bombings and do it relentlessly. For 40 years FG have tried to cover up British involvement in the Dublin Monaghan bombings. The Free State public would seem to have little interest in justice for their own citizens murdered with British state involvement, much like it has no interest in the victims of the Stardust. Theyāre more interested in pursuing a successful business man and republican like Slab Murphy for not paying tax.
Itās almost 44 years since the Dublin and Monagahan bombings happened.
Fine Gael have been in power several times since Cosgrave and done fuck all about pursuing the truth and justice as regards those bombings.
In that time, a Fine Gael Taoiseach was instrumental in derailing the peace process.

Didnāt know what thread to put this on but seeing as he was mentioned on it in recent times there might no better place to put this story about CJH which I heard this evening.
At the end of his time in power one of his jobs was to open the square in Tallaght. As he was just about to cut the the tape and he announced the proud opening of this leisure centre a FF councillor tapped him on the shoulder to tell him it was a shopping centre. CJH replied in then to ask why was the expectant crowd all wearing tracksuits.
