Sidney's imaginary bets thread - for mug punters only
The rationale is for others to ponder previous to a bet. Not something to cry about after.

What are your thoughts on Leinster Club, I met a prominent club and county footballer last night who has actually put money on Rhode. Not sure I’d go that far, but they are probably a bit long on odds.
I was at the Vincent’s - Garrycastle match. The first 20-25 minutes were unbelieveably one-sided and Vincent’s genuinely could have been 20 up with all the goal chances they missed. However all the while there was a feeling that they were in second or third gear and the game suddenly changed and a 10 point gap went to a level match. However they steadied the ship reasonably well to win by 5. They also let Plunkett’s back into it in the Dublin final when they were comfortably the better team. Those two matches show that they have a tendency not to put teams away properly when they should, but they’re still getting there.

Saw the Offaly SFC final and wasn’t impressed with Rhode. Was also reading that Moorefield were missing some players in the semi-final.

Basically if Vincent’s have the right attitude they should blow Rhode away. Connolly has been reasonably quiet of late but is due a big match today.

You need to stop posting your predictions Sid and just tell us when you’ve had some winners, thats how TTK turned it around.

I pride myself on my honesty and integrity, apart from when I’m undercharged for booze.
8 from 8 after all of Saturday’s selections. A €20 stake on these 8 would have made a €113 profit.

9 to go for the coup of the year.
Four more selections successful this afternoon.

Five left to go:
Atletico Madrid
Indianapolis
Baltimore
New England
Green Bay

It’s going to be a tense scene in the Waddell household come 6pm, when all five remaining selections kick-off.

Best of luck with them I’ve never managed to get a mad one like that even come remotely close. Hopefully you’ll get a great sweat at least.

It’s a pity these are only imaginary bets.

This is cracking work Sidney. Showing a lot of board betting experts up.
