Sinn Fein - Populism and Partionism

Lights out for you alright.

The vast majority of the poorest wards in NI are SF-run. What SF do is the classic Trump/Tory tribal ploy. Get people to vote on things other than real issues by turning them into tribes who vote with the caveman part of their brain. As whites in Alabama are hooked onto the crack of Trump and other Republicans who play them for fools, so the working classes who Sinn Fein are doing nothing for are hooked onto their propaganda crack.

ok so they’re a tax haven like ourselves. What about their public transport etc .
A country where our constitution was bloody intertwined with the church. Proper alright…

Marc MacSharry began today calling for the Gardai to investigate SF for these fake pollster shenanigans.

He’s ending it by calling for Micheál Martin to resign following confirmation that FF were doing it too.

Story in the Irish Independent. MacSharry is one of the biggest headbangers in the DĂĄil.

Shure he can’t even get that right, Fianna Fail haven’t done it since 2007, Martin became leader in 2011.

MacSharry is very much one for the Failing Upwards thread. He’s a total simpleton.

That gowl Simon Harris was on newstalk earlier saying what SF did was very sinister and that as far as he knows FG wouldn’t do it, que Varadkar coming out to say the FG did the same as SF up till 2016 when he became leader. Seems everytime that reporter at the indo with the hard on for SF does a story on them he ends up hanging the other parties as well. Can he not accept that they all carry on the same?

This story will be dead by the weekend.

1 - I completely disagree. Their voters are not populist fools. They are deeply disaffected for the most part. A generation who feel they have been cheated out of a future, hence their demographic. They see a system they feel is utterly broken and want drastic change.

2- Honestly? The north. They are in government there and implement completely different policies. Because they have to lots of the time. Go back through the Fg tweet timeline or the SF thread for multiple examples.
With regard to your patronising characterisation of me as a SF voter and therefore foolish or thick, I dont vote SF. At the moment anyway.
By the way, you inserted the word decent there to bolster your argument. I’m not sure why, or if you used it meaning competent or well meaning, but it has nothing to do with my argument.

3- I never said anything about status quo. You made that bit up. Your whole post is an argument against something I didnt say.

Sinn Fein’s schtick is that they are different from FF and FG. But when they’re caught out in a lie, they change position to saying “oh, FF and FG have done it too”.

They can’t have it both ways. They’re either different or they’re not. If SF claim they’re different and then it turns out they’re not, and it has done, they’re the ones with the questions to answer.

I haven’t seen one SF supporter answer anything to do with this, they’ve gone full deflection in the style of Trump, as they always do.

SF also made a big play of Eoghan Harris having a fake Twitter account. It now turns out that the outrage at that from SF supporters was entirely fake, because they now see no problem with SF deceiving people, pretending to be people they aren’t.

Nobody expects much from FF and FG, we know what they’re like, so it’s hardly much in the way of news.

A hell of a lot of them are, to be fair.

You rarely if ever see a Sinn Fein supporter online answer a question. Because they can’t. So they deflect, whatabout, or waffle on with stock cliches and extremely aggressive bluster.

One particular poster here, let’s call him Angelo, sorry Fulvio, is a classic of the genre.

Shinnerbots remind me of the children in the Itchy and Scratchy focus group, the one that led to Poochie.

“So, you want a realistic, down to earth show, that’s completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots?”

They want unicorns, basically. Green Tories.

It’s hard to know where to begin with this one, it’s like something labane would come out with.

That Simon Harris interview on Newstalk was playing this morning at 5.24 am as I was driving into work. It’s even more hilarious in hindsight. Used words like “sinister” to describe it.

I hate Simon Harris

Now the Greens have admitted it as well. This lad Ryan at the indo who writes these stories attacking SF and all he does is land all the other parties in it.

Harris is some gowl, you could tell in his interview yesterday he was just itching to be asked about this SF fake pollsters.

Leo has played this magnificently.

we really should hold people to account when they use fake twitter accounts to hound people

I suspected the minute this story broke that all parties had their hands dirty in some way shape or form. It reminds me of the "signing in for expenses " scandal that broke a few years back. Everyone ducking for cover. Ad I said last night this will be dead by the weekend as everyone is involved

Offffttttt

You can be guaranteed that when the likes of the Indo and Agent Ryan go after SF with articles like this all the other parties go running for cover. Its not like FF and FG have been shinning beacons of Virtue and honesty. It is funny though. I wonder if that reporter gets any calls from FG and FF saying will ya fucking stop yer dragging us all down. Harris the gowl on Newstalk yesterday going on about it being sinister and then not long after on another station Varadkar fucks him a bus and McSharry screaming for garda investigations and him in FF. Funnily enough it all seems to have gone quiet today.

of course it begs the question of how a politics reporter worth their salt wasnt aware that theyd all been at it for donkeys years
