Sinn Fein - Populism and Partionism

I never tried to justify the campaign so less of the sucker talk. I think they were completely justified in starting one at the outset. Revisionist Iā€™m alright Jack FFG heads wonā€™t ever concede on that and ironically only shows them to be sucking from the same hypocrisy tit as the people they decry

No one can justify half the murders but I see Timmy and Tummy neglect to mention the role of British state terrorism that created a constant state of chaos and paranoia that essentially drove the conflict in the direction it went. Obviously, some cold blooded shit went down that can never be justifiedā€¦ But it always amuses me when the forums west brits neglected to mention the tans as the leading cause of most of the violence up northā€¦ With every year that passes this becomes more and more evident.

West Brits :joy:

Youā€™re about to flee to Spain like the actual Brits.

Iā€™m neither, and I am very critical of the WoI.

However they had more of a mandate. Your revisionism pretended as if they didnā€™t. The opposition to conscription was led by a variety of forces in Ireland including the Irish Parliamentary Party.

There was a decision made to vote for SF by the public, when their manifesto was crystal clear.

Again, the very basic of this argument and your mudguarding for them is part and parcel of the goal of PSF. To get their campaign on the level of the WoI. It isnā€™t. It never didnā€™t have any mandate.

What I see from the likes of you is the usual- ā€œwe have to move on from the pastā€, but then mention British atrocities and demand justice.

Similarly, ā€œthe violence was justifiedā€ when open questions are posed on it. When we get specific, like PIRA killing mothers for example, then we have to ā€œmoveā€ on.

The above are part and parcel of the playbook.

And itā€™s working.

Youā€™ll be scratching your hole at 70 roaring about West Brits whilst supporting a British soccer team wondering why there is still no UI.

I said none of that, but carry on.

Except you did.

Blame the Brits :white_check_mark:
Pretend that you are actually in the middle and want to move on :white_check_mark:
Mention West Brits :white_check_mark:

Textbook from you lot. Didnā€™t you post a picture from one of the local meetings? Whatā€™s the drill at them?

Ehā€¦ I was merely laughing at your exclusion of the tans when analysing the causes if violence. The rest youve invented. Until you and the tans themselves recognise and accept your part in the murder, weā€™ll never have closure.

Sinn Fein standing for the working man is some laugh

What a sorry vision for Ireland is the Provo vision, if it is threatened by cleaning women and clerks, contractors or bricklayers.

That isnā€™t correct thoughā€¦you stated the below

As I saidā€¦:.typical. Great lads for telling everyone to ā€œmove onā€, except for ā€œda Britsā€.

Meanwhile the brave Provos were using Catholics as human shields.

Yes Tim, the point of my post was that you leave out this pertinent point when pointing the finger

You lie down with dogsā€¦

Nah, the point of your post was the usual ā€œitā€™s all Brits faultā€.

When youā€™ll also be quick to tell everyone to forget.

As I said, what did they talk about at your meetings down in Cork? Are the simpleton lads who come in with their tricolours and notions that theyā€™re modern day Pearse and Connollys put into your own little section?

A man trying to make an honest living for his family.

Robbing banks and post offices followed by taking a pension from the British government to administer British rule in Northern Ireland is far more noble.

All we ask for on here is balanced analysis

He gave the referee a decision to makeā€¦

Yours wasnā€™t balanced.

The old Ira burned down Free State and British buildings like orphanages. Both IRa were criminal scum towards the end. The Provos had more justification for taking up arms imo however. We did not have the discrimination down here nowhere near it. In fact the first victim of the glorious old Ira was an Irish speaking father of 7 going about his day job as a policeman.

Ah yeah, all the Raā€™s fault!!
