Sinn Fein - Populism and Partionism

Along similar lines, I stopped using Sevco a good while ago (bar the very odd relapse or if I want to mix it up as I inavariably don’t want to start three paragraphs in a row with “Rangers” and/or “The huns”). I even refer to them as Rangers the odd time & I no longer use “British Occupied Ireland” unless I forget. Unlike Sinn FĂ©in, I feel these relatively recent developments make me mature & ready for government.

Did anyone hear Patrick O’Donovan on the radio this morning? Owen Byrne’s tweet sent a shiver down his spine apparently.

The biggest conundrum I’m currently experiencing as a poster on this forum is whether to use “game” or “match” in reference to a sports game/match.

I have a terrible habit of interchanging the two terms, sometimes within the one sentence, which makes me look like a terrible writer.

To go all Chairman Dan on it:

“Tonight’s game between Lokomotiv Leipzig and Woolwich promises to be a fascinating match.”

I don’t want to embarrass the poster in question so I won’t mention his username, but a Spurs supporting TFK member won a competition on the club website for away north London derby tickets a couple of seasons ago. He flew into London City Airport for handiness so he could access the DLR but was completely bewildered when he hopped off & emerged onto a sleepy & deserted Sunday morning Woolwich High Street less than an hour before kick off.

You need a go to list. You need 5 options to be safe:

A bunch of scruffy protestors occupying a building illegally, misappropriating funds, putting a sex offender amidst vulnerable people and worst of all, nodding along to Glen Hansard is akin to Rosa Parks :joy:

SF have rolled out their team for championship and look to be favouring a 4-2-3-1 formation

A bit like how the bodies at Kingsmills were laid out.

The sliced pan formation.

Sums up the woke left.

If you don’t agree with our values you’re a Nazi.

If we do something illegal in pursuit of our values we’re Rosa Parks.

Infantile reductionism. Social media has fucked lads good and proper.

I haven’t seen such infantile reductionism since @glenshane’s last post. Social media has fucked this lad good and proper, without lubrication.

In honour of Holy week sid is making a holy show of himself. A meltdown over a decade old newspaper article.

lads living in the virtual world thinking they know whats going on in the real world

Well look who can’t take their clamping.

A bit like an online Jeff Astle that head of yours has obviously taken a few too many slaps Art.

but i can still carry a tune.

nonetheless, what i said is true.

Yes, the Gemma O’Doherty supporter is apparently the one living in the “real world”.

I think cheasty is playing a blinder here. The first time I’ve seen a poster take a position based on what he actually believes rather than which ‘side’ he supports. Gilesy would be impressed as he’s taking each debate on its own merits bill.

i suppose youll now trawl the archive to see if you can get anything that will remotely back what youre saying.

pity we cant do the same for your old usernames
