Sinn Fein - Populism and Partionism

Was it Stanley would ask Noel Kelly what he sold when working for Cadburys?

That’s a significant loss no matter how they spin it. Violet Anne and the lady from Lanzarote they can swat away as insignificant. Who’s next ?

Martin Browne will be the Minister for Labour after the next election.

The “up the ra” lad from Waterford could be running the show soon .

Sport surely ? All that darts league experience shouldn’t be wasted

Simon is enjoying his coffee and croissant this morning with his finger on the button

Apart from the news the lovely Kate delivered to him yesterday about running as an Independent

Kate won’t get next nor near a seat as as independent.

Yeah I don’t think there’s two seats there for FG as O’Callaghan is strong too and she knew it. It’s very much an Independent FG slant she’s taking, hoping McDowell won’t run either so she can sneak in.

I still think it will come down to Bacik and Andrews for the last one.

1FG | 1 FF then 2 from Lab/SF/Green/FG/Ind

The stars are aligning a bit for Bacik to unexpectedly get back in you’d think

Andrews has a virtual monopoly on the working class areas of the constituency. Last time round they were getting the vote out in Ringsend and Pearse St with military efficiency. He’ll retain a seat.

Yeah, and there’s def a lefty seat there - the Ruairi Quinn/Eamonn Ryan vote. I’d say Bacik will get in now that Ryan has retired

Didn’t realise Ryan was fully stepping away next election. Yes there’s definitely one “guilty middle classes” seat that Bacik will be in the mix for.

I’m not so sure. Those are areas where the far right started to do well.

He underperformed the SF national vote last time significantly. He got 9.5% in 2016 and 16% last time. I can see him losing a couple of % and losing out.

More that Kate, Simon are the non Leo alliance buddies- that news would have crushed him.

Even if cuffe replaces him?

Fine Gael has added Emma Blain of the Sindo '03 team to its ticket in Dublin Bay South.

Kate has clearly taken being traded in for a newer, sexier model very hard.

Let the Blain game begin because I can see Fine Gael getting 0 seats in this constituency.

Kate looks and sounds like she’s been at the sherry in this video

In fairness though she’s one for “people you might not agree with” thread
