It’s funny that without anyone discussion of the merits, TUM has presented a scenario where everyone gets a pay raise or student nurses can’t get paid.
It’s entirely without basis and an utterly spurious proposition.
I think everyone would accept that student nurses do work and deserve pay. I don’t see that every other union demands a pay raise ok the back of that.
It would want to be a very weak government that could not stand over that decision.
You’d also want to be a bit of a cunt to purposely mistreat such a weak grouping on such spurious grounds.
