The republicans on here wouldnt concede the anthem to a neutral song like irelands call. Without that willingness to compromise it will never happen

Sexton really is the key, his drop goal in Paris was the winning of the tournament. The England game yesterday was over before it started. Eddie Jones is solely focused on the world cup.

6 nations is a bit devalued as a resultā€¦certainly 2009 seemed like a far greater achievement.

Saying that, i didnt watch the second half yesterday as the AI club hurling final was on.

Yeah but no team can compensate for missing two players of that quality. All blacks huge drop down from Barret to who McKenzie or Sopoga?

Heā€™ll be lucky to still be in charge for the world cup the way they are going.

Oops

If Oireland 32 win the world cup there will be mass suicide amongst the pretend sfira bigots

To be fair, Joey has steered Ireland to a win over the All Blacks and has never really looked out of place with Ireland.

There is certainly a huge drop down at scrum half but then Murray is the best 9 in the world so there always will be.

Hooker is odd as we havenā€™t had that big an of an issue with it in the past but there is certainly a gap in quality, I know Leinster have seriously zeroed in on it as an area to improve on. Incidentally very disappointing for Eoghan Clarke from CBC who was due to start for the Ireland under 20s against England but split his head in the warmup. When he came on in the second half he dislocated his hipā€¦awful for the lad. Leinster had converted him to hooker and he was due to join the Academy this summer.

When you consider how much depth has been built at the tight head position given the issues there 10 years ago you have to applaud the academy structure.

Niall Scannell is a top top player. Best no2 we (Munster) have had since Flannery. Brilliant scrummager, good darts and good carrier. He will be a good foil for the other 2 and would probably start if anything happened to Best.

Greg Feek did brilliant work here. We have props coming out of our holes now. John Ryan another very capable tighthead as well as Porter. Two loosehead options are 2nd to none

Shane Ross or Eddie Jones?

Says who, fucko? Irelandā€™s call is woeful bit some of us would change.

It all goes back to St Patrickā€™s Day 2012 at Twickenham. Utterly humiliated in the scrum once Mike Ross had to go off injured early. IRFU got Feek, generally acknowledged as a modern day Roly Meates and one of the best scrum coaches in the world on board. What was for years an area of real weakness has now become a real strength. Marty Moore coming back to Ulster next season will also be back in the international fold.

How the fuck was he let play in the game in the first place? You know, before he dislocated his hip.

He just got a few stitches is all kid. Chill da beanz
