Good to see you comparing the national soccer team’s games to an average GAA championship game. The entire country only plays only 5 of these qualifying games and they can’t give the tickets away.
You are a very very odd sort of spanner god bless you
fuck up you partitionist pig

So 2 intercounty matches would get the same attendance as that of the whole country? You’re right TASE the GAA is going from strength to strength.
The queen is your head of state, arsehole.
the queen is the head of state of part of your country too
jesus, my comment is really exposing the forums partitionist pigs
Says the guy living in Australia:D

I watch a good bit of footbal, soccer and rugby and enjoy all three to different degrees. With football I have to pay almost as much attention as with hurling but I quite enjoy rugby and soccer as you can turn down the volume and watch it out of the corner of your eye while reading the paper or posting that anthony stokes is shit to get bandage going without missing a thing so no it doesn’t bother me.
In fact I would be delighted if soccer ever managed to get organised enough to provide kids all over the country with facilities and coachs.
The irony that the multitudes of fat accountants playing 5 aside included in your playing numbers do so on
gaa astro turfs is Amusing

the failed governments gave the GGA millions in grants, this was despite the fact that no one plays it. For you to boast about the fact that the GGA has facilities shows you to be a poisonous ,vindictive & anti Irish man
Id pity you if you wernt so dangerous

the government shortened the time frame for completeing croke park which wad already well under way when bertie ahern paid back a bits
of the vat akready paid out to
guarantee croke park would not be opened Up to soccer and rugby.
There would be no new landsdow ne at all if the government hadn’t built it
You really are a very very one dimensional simpleton which is symptomatic of irish soccers problems. The lack of intelligence you are displaying may explain why soccer men can’t put together coherent plans to avail of support for facility development

the syntax in this post makes me look like wordsworth
are you drunk TAN?
you cant deny however the amount of taxpayers money wasted on the likes of these communist era stadiums that serve no purpose today and are never utilised like Breffni park, Cusack park in Ennis, Tullamore, Mullingar, Portlaois, Nowlan Park, Gaelic Grounds , Salthill, Croke Park, Thurles and machale park was a crime. To suggest it was all " fundraising" is bollux also

re syntax as you put it the issue is predictive text allied to couldn’t be arsed going back over it.
Re tax payers money there is no arcane secret to accessing it. its a process which is helped enormously by having a specific community with an interest on supporting the scheme. That its the biggest issue facing soccer when trying to develop I feel , along with player movement
There’s an international game in Cavan this weekend. Do keep up Mickee ffs.

since the founding of the state the GGA got land, they had an advantage over all other sports yet in terms of playing numbers the GGA games are barely in the top 10 and there is no TV audience apart from the finals
the GGA has failed despite getting everything from the free state and the fact that you dont see that makes it all the sweeter
Was it last year or year before that there was more at a 4th round hurling game in Cork below in Castlemartyr than there was at any LOI game for the entire same season?
You can’t compare watching a national team to a club game.
LOI is probably in the same level as Intermediate hurling and football in Cork in terms of attendance.
@twiceasnice97 - you must have forgot to mention Aidan Walshes improvement as an intermediate hurler over the past week.

This sort of rating who is the best really bothers you by the look of it.
I personally don’t see the point of the whinging comparison s between sports but it is very common to hear it from soccer fans and marty morrisey
