Anyway, what’s the target here for deep/REM? - The little un still wakes twice a night so there is that.

REM and deep are different. Aim for 90
minutes deep. If you have a baby you’ll manage with less. We all did.

the amount of drinking that is going here is destroying lads as well as two dinners and a cooked breakfast, is it any wonder lads are tossing and turning all night

would you not go to bed a bit earlier if you want 9 hours?

Or maybe like me you couldn’t actually sleep for that long most nights,

i sleep like a baby for about 7 hours but even now I’m still up by 7 most days

I get about 6 hours sleep most nights I’d say, 7 on a good night, 4 or 5 on a bad night. Always had trouble sleeping since my teens.

Serious going to basically sleep soundly for 9 hours. I’d be a good sleeper myself.

I think there is too.

No alarm clock in the lockdown and the Calm app has improved my sleep immensely. Solid 8 hours or more a night with longer at weekends and no stirring during the night.

Anyone getting less than 6.5 hours sleep is physically ten years older than they actually are.
