So, who's striking today? Which Side are You On

Everyone in Ireland should get paid exactly €100,000 a year, irrespective of what they do. It’s the fairest system.

Fuck off, I’m not taking a pay cut for no cunt.

You’ll do it for the people, or you’ll get shot by the people.

€100k and a free house for everyone.

More threats of violence than normal around here this morning :hushed:

And 10% pay rises every six months to match inflation

We may need to thin the population to make this work. Any suggestions as to who is first against the wall?

A TFK list or a real list?

A social demographic would suffice.

Just for point of reference, between 2009 and 2013 the average salary in Irish rail increased by 1.1k per annum or 2% while the average industrial wage decreased by 5%

Also during the downturn, between 2009 and 2013, train fares rose by approximately 45%

There’ll only be one social demographic profile when we’re all on 100k. It will be the great leveller.

Just goes to prove the incompetence of Irish Rail management that they weren’t capable of getting that info out there.

Its unsustainable pal, we need to pull up the drawbridge on a section of society so that the rest of us call all be equal. I suggest Cork.

In fairness, it was very boring research going through annual reports and the CSO website

That’s a bit narrow, how about Munster?

Sold.

But that’s it. They were either too lazy or incapable of getting the info to show that Irish Rail workers are not as down trodden as they would like us to believe.

Easiest solution really - sure we’re not paying for it so why not.

All they are doing is hastening the arrival of driverless trains & the hyperloop

Monorail.
