I expect they would be part of the consumer price index but I can’t answer for sure. I’m sure Art has factored it in to his calculations.
It is indeed. And the price of train tickets rose by 45% at a time when the CPI fell by 3%

It’s about the same journey time from Dublin to Cork by train as it was in the late 1970s. I think that sums up Irish rail and this country in general quite nicely
I don’t know what that is let alone did I pay attention to it.
Agreed, it’s a lovely quaint little country.
