Pre social media I got a photo start of juniors/first year. Every other year all I got was a plea for the love of God to behave

Tbf I only use it to buy/sell stuff on marketplace. Fierce handy for crap that you would look up on done deal. I’ve worked a tidy profit on things and cleared out my own clutter.

That is one of the weird things, people plastering kids up for likes. You never know what weirdos are.out there and can access them shots. With WhatsApp etc, far safer and just as easy to send pic to those you care about sharing directly with.
Exactly my thinking. Take the photos, print them of for the fireplace and send to family in messages. Over 40s on fb are cringe (having kids brings down the age of the shot posting on fb too)
