We had some of that but itās on the missing list. I tore the house asunder looking. And itās not easy rummaging around presses with a sore thumb.

i only got stung on the first day of last years beekeeping season, and on the last day of the previous season. The year before that the hay in the smoker combusted, and sent a busrst of flame into the hive. All hell broke loose- they worked out the could sting through the suit where the elastic cuffs met the gloves. Once the swelling went down I could count 17 stings. It was like having a flu. Cant say i blame them.

This Spider took up residence in my native border on the verge with the road a few weeks ago. Sheās doubled in size. The web is extraordinary, about 3 metres across. Weāve had about 200mils of rain in the last 48 hours so she spent today repairing it. I have to do a major prune on the plants in that border, but Iāll have to work around her and try not to disturb her. Amazing creature.

What make of spider is it? I love finding insects around the garden and in the shed and figuring out what they are. Nothing like what you find Iām sure. I have an app for it and all

It is and thereās many types of them. Thereās a striped one at the garage entrance causing annoyance but I canāt bring myself to get rid of it.
Iāve come to realise the spiders are our friends, they predate on so many annoying fuckers like mosquitoes (I fucking hate mosquitoes).
Itās fascinating watching something like this going about itās business.
