I was in Newcastle for a stag over the weekend.
From speaking to a taxi driver yesterday, Saturday night was quiet by Newcastle standards. Holy fuck, if that was quiet then I can’t imagine what busy is like. To be honest I can’t recall many of the names of the pubs that we visited but the best one for me was Revolution (I think). Packed at 9.30.
It’s a bit rough in places but a great place for the debauchery that does be had on stags.

Reminds me of the now defunct Revolution on Lothian Road in Edinburgh. A wonderful establishment that I frequented on Monday nights back in the summer of 2003. Big enough to evade the girlfriend for long periods of the night also.
Anyone here been to Carrick On Shannon for a stag? Doesn’t seem to be any comments on it in this thread other than Boxtys rant at the start about playing indoor stick stick in the mart.

Not at all. Only sad cunts like gman would organise their own stag. Pikeman isn’t involved at the present time. A couple of locations have been discussed and I’m merely using the good people of tfk as a sounding board for some of those locations. Thanks for the offer though mate.

Galway is good but the pubs are always rammed packed which gets on your Tits when you are waiting an age for a pint… I find this also hampers banter levels as everyone is wedged and all over the place.
Clonakilty is worth checking out.
Lots of people don’t like it but I always found tralee good craic with very friendly ladies.
