What more could you want.
+1.
We based ourselves in Father’s Bar on Bridge Street on a stag there earlier this year during the daytime. I give it a hearty recommendation.
have one in Westport at the end of the month, (i am obviously a roaster)
Any reviews of said location?
A great spot. You won’t go wrong. Some great little bars around the place and as mentioned elsewhere a mouldy nightclub that will let anyone in.
A cheap sordid shithole, great craic altogether.
Where are the best spots to go?
Morans is a good spot too across from Matt Molloys. Plenty of bookies there too.
Up and down Matthew St for tarts.
I highly recommend Liverpool for a stag @Il Bomber Destro
Will I meet my future wife there?
You’ll meet your future mother in law #gilfs
There are two main drinking areas, Matthews street and concert square. Matthews street is like a cross between temple bar & a strip in some shit Spanish resort, you can’t really go wrong on it if you just head to busy ones. Concert square is a little more upmarket (and still a complete shithole).
As an example I was in concert square one night and some scouse lad started on the bouncer, bit of a scuffle and his mates got involved. Bouncers from all over the square descended on them and cleared it out. Then the main offender and the bouncer squared off in the middle of square while the rest of the bouncers held everyone else back. The bouncer kicked the head off your man while the cops watched from a distance. Once the fight was over the police came in and cleared the area and fucked the scouser into the car. Everything just returned to normal then like this was the most natural thing ever.
We had no hassle over there and the locals have great time for the Irish but you wouldn’t want to do anything too stupid. Its cheap as chips as well.

Giddiness building in advance of Newcastle at the weekend
Newcastle is overrated
I was in Newcastle for a stag over the weekend.
From speaking to a taxi driver yesterday, Saturday night was quiet by Newcastle standards. Holy fuck, if that was quiet then I can’t imagine what busy is like. To be honest I can’t recall many of the names of the pubs that we visited but the best one for me was Revolution (I think). Packed at 9.30.
It’s a bit rough in places but a great place for the debauchery that does be had on stags.
You’re overrated
Revolution and Newcastle in general is full of English roasters, from the likes of rural Wiltshire and Lincoln on stag dos’s. no wonder you thought it was “shavage” I suppose you thought the one going around selling shots was unreal aswell as she mugged you for a fiver for a shot, mugged you off good and proper
Would you get a big black hooker up there?
you can buy anything with enough money
