Take a short detour to Glen of Aherlow.

The ā€˜Glen of Aherlow Driveā€™ itself is very underwhelming, unless you actually traverse the Galtees.

Ballard Waterfall near the town.

Thatā€™s a nice one.

Eat cheese

Drive to Kilmallock. Head out towards Ballylanders, turn left up the hill into Kilfinane and then descend through Godā€™s country to the balbec.

Locke is a decent sort, but I dont believe heā€™s the self proclaimed forum superdad.

Yeah the best way to appreciate it is to walk some of it. We would usually take a left in Bansha or could go on further into Tipp town. Aherlow house is a fine place to stop off for lunch as well. Big outdoor terrace with nice views although probably not as appetising on a day like today.

Iā€™m as far from a superdad as you can get. Super sperm maybe.

Fermanagh is the only county in Ireland Iā€™ve never been in.

Itā€™s a nice county, rolling hills and good land. Enniskillen is a lovely market town.

Iā€™ve a hardy 5 year old, how far would she get?

Hardy Kinvara 5 yo accustomed to waving sticks at bullocks, chasing suck calves and reared mainly outdoors would be well fit for a 5 mile heavy terrain hike. Her father, on the other hand, may struggle.

Go working for dairygold. Only reason Iā€™ve ever heard of anyone going there

You surely have passed through it at some point?

The TFK favourite Doneraile Park wouldnā€™t be too far @KinvarasPassion
