Thanks.
It’s actually a mate. @Bandage, I get the feeling you are avoiding me on this issue.
I went back to the start of the thread as I often do when old threads are bumped, pal. There’s normally some good posts to read-not this time.
I can’t believe anything you post, mate.
I know. I’ve let myself down too many times. Why did I push it with my fucking carrot soup horseshit.
In fairness, I was in my twenties when I posted that and you see the same bland and naive musings from the likes of @glasagusban and @Kid Chocolate today.
@Fran, I usually sample these things before I conclude they’re shit. That applies to rugby football, horse racing and a few other bits and pieces. Granted there’s other things that I won’t countenance from the get go such as high brow fantasy TV shows.
No harm in trying things mate - apart from tag rugby obviously.
As you know I played rugby myself. It took me a short while to realise that I was just really good at the game, as opposed to the game being really enjoyable. It’s easy to confuse talent for enjoyment. Did JD Salinger actually enjoy writing Catcher in the Rye or was he just an excellent writer? Did @Fitzy really enjoy working in a hardware store in New Ross or was he just blinded by the employee of the month award?

Think @Fitzy turned around the fortunes of a hardware store in Clonmel rather than New Ross. You might be confusing him with @caoimhaoin who used to holiday in New Ross.

Blinded… You’re a bad man @Rocko
I thought it was a draper’s shop.
I was going to pull him up on that earlier-just a horrible, horrible turn of phrase to use to have a snide pop at @Fitzy
Disgusting to see someone’s handicap being used in such a way, speaks volumes about Rocko.
Darren O’Sullivan giving up his job to play gaelic football full time.
what was the job
Bank
So crime does pay…
Hopefully Social Welfare have made note of this admission.
The self importance of some GAA players is absolutely baffling. It’s particularly bad at club level too.
Its a convenient spin alright.
Go on
No insider knowledge, just observing that its a convenient spin to put on leaving your place of work. He was in DIT studying Marketing not so long ago after taking leave from the Bank.
Is he extremely thick???
