Needs to displace Paintsil at Craven Cottage. But with the Europa league he will get chances. Massive move for him at a crucial time in his career
Never rated Pantsil that highly although I hear he did well for them last seasonā¦He was a total flop at West Ham, although plenty of others flopped there too
Hodgson is a good coach tho. They had a good defensive record last season a fair achievement considering konchesky, Hughes and Paint were in it. Says a lot for hangelands orgainsational skills too which is why I want him at villa park .
:D:D:D asked any Inter fan about that:D
Arent you an Inter fan?
Think he brought them to the Uefa Cup final back when teams actually gave a shite about it. Didnt they offer him some Director of Football role there a couple of years ago too.

he sold roberto carlos ffs- dont think he won anything of note with inter & he is not fondly remembered
Podolski to FC Cologne??? I always rated him, is this not a massive step back for him or a major coup for Cologne?
Also, if thereās any truth in the Bentley / Jenas swap deal for Young, MON should take Harryās hand off for thatā¦
Still though they brought him back for a caretaker spell and offered him a Sporting Director role before he took the job at Fulham.

Bentley, Jenas, Huddlestone and a few others have been mentioned it a swap with Young. Young is an infinitely better player than Valencia so if we wanted to cash in would be 25m plus considering he is English. Heās an Arsenal fan, Chelsea and Man Utd are probably interested so Young to Spurs is a non runner all day long.

I think it would be a good deal for Villa. Jenas is a quality player, the type of player who could be a big success at Villa. Bentley was one of the best wingers in the EPL two years ago, and it just didnāt worked out for him at Spurs. It doesnāt make him a bad player all of a sudden.
Zzzzzz ā¦
Would you rather see Ribery or perhaps Messi go to Villa so you clown? Villa are shit in case you havenāt noticed. Truth be told Bentley and Jenas would have no business going there anyway.
Van der vaart, hleb, sneijder and that kind of ilk we should be targeting.
Jenas and bentley have their uses but would struggle to make the side and last year were in and out of a side that were comfortably worse than Villa.
Admins ban this mong
Iāll eat my hat if Villa sign any of those players this summer.
Jenas and Bentley would both WALK onto the Villa team. Fact.
Why would i ban myself?

I canāt believe people really care what goes on between Spuds and Villa

If we are serious about getting into the Champions League thats the kind of ambition we need to be showing. Dont think any of the top 4 would be after those three so why not.

I dont believe Jenas is much of an improvement if at all on Sidwell, Reo Coker or Milner as a centre midfielder. At his best he would provide pace, stamina, a few goals and a bit of bite to the midfield. But he wont provide what he are now lacking ie a playmaker comfortable in seeking possession and with the guile to create chances. Therefore he aint needed.
Bentley v Milner - Milner is quicker, has a better attitude, is comfortable on either wing and possibly the centre, is improving and far more of a team player than Bentley. Bentleyās best attribute is his delivery from set pieces but we probably have one of the best exponents in Europe, Ashley Young, at the club so we dont really need that either. He certaintly wouldnt walk on the team and signing him is MON returning to bargaintown rather than showing a bit of ambition.

So you wouldnt be exposing yourself to further ridicule .

Podolski came from Cologne orginally and I think they had first refusal on him. Think he was always keen on going back there, heās an odd sort of guy and didnāt really enjoy the big club thing. Good player alright.
