Rocko has it right here. Podolski has been miserable away from Cologne and has spoken openly about wanting to go back all season.
From Football365:
Leeds United have confirmed they have yet to receive any offers for transfer listed striker Jermaine Beckford.
The Whites have listed the striker after he rejected the chance to sign a fresh three-year deal at Elland Road.
A host of teams have been linked with bids for the ex-Wealdstone United marksman, although chairman Ken Bates has confirmed nothing has been put on the table for the 25-year-old.
“We don’t speculate about incomings or outgoings,” Bates told Yorkshire Radio.
“So far we have had tentative enquiries about Becks, but there’s been no offers.”
Chelsea have matched Liverpools bid for Glen Johnson and Pompey have accepted… It is now up to the player as to which team he wishes to play for…
Tevez is to definately leave United…They have macthed the asking price and offered him a 5 year deal but he wants to leave…
With him and Ronaldo leaving this must be the first time in Ferguson’s reign that two big players(who weren’t past their peak) wanted out of the club…
Looks like City are the favourites to sign him…
Belgian centre back Thomas Vermuelin has joined Arsenal for around 11 million…
Man City have agreed an 18 million fee for Roque Santa Cruz with Blackburn…serious bit of profit there for blackburn, think they only paid about 4 million for him
flecther (the good one not the donker in lancashire) to join Celtic
Would be a very good signing if it goes through.
The hibs lad?
yeah
what kind of a fee?
He is hardly much of an improvement, would be roughly the same level as Skippy, although maybe a harder worker…
Whatever happened to the polish lad Zorowski or whatever his name was?

From what i’ve seen of Fletcher he is superior to any of Celtic’s current strikers, and that includes Cavan’s very own Cillian Sheridan.
sheridan is muck
magic is well gone puke
st ledger linked too
Benzema’s agent is quoted today as saying Benzema wants to stay with Lyon until after the World Cup. Not sure what his contract situation is but I presume a big enough fee (from United presumably) would persaude Lyon who might then persuade him that he’s best off leaving.
A lot of rags saying City have Tevez all signed up.
Another nail in SAF’s coffin?

Tevez aint good enough. Cant believe United wanted to sign him.
Santa Cruz isnt good enough either. He reminds me so much of Juan Pablo Angel. Injuries killed both players pace and they both made hay out of one good season. Angel signed a massive contract after his great season under O’Leary and was shite afterwards.
Hughes to be gone by Xmas.
I wasn’t referring to Tevez’s quality. I’m pointing out the fact that Utd wanted him, and couldnt keep him.
Cruz is a comfort blanket for Hughes.
Wolves in for Doyle…
Michael Owen said today that he will definitely leave Newcastle United this summer and will be prepared to move abroad if a deal with a Premier League club cannot be agreed.
“I can’t see me staying at Newcastle,” Owen said.
