Great result tonight. Limerick would be a top 4 premier league team this year so it’s not really a shock but great to be in a cup final.
Limerick won this last in 2002 . Beat Derry in the final on pens at the brandy well . Jimmy Fyffe was great in goal. We won it in the early 90 too beating pats in Harold’s cross in the final . Ken de Mange was good for that team . The great Johnny Walsh too .
Is Jimmy Fyffe still gigging around Limerick. Haven’t seen himy in a while.

Great win! I was at the League Cup final against Pats in the early 90’s with my Dad and a son of his friend. Think it was New years day or maybe Jan 2nd. Icey roads going up. A car bombed past us around Birdhill - a few miles later we passed it with the thing on its roof. Think he was OK though.
Limerick walked all over the cunts and I got to go to funderland after to celebrate the win. Memories!
Where will the final be played? If it’s Pats then they owe us a home game .

Last few years final played in Tallaght .
Last 2 in Galway and Dundalk, 2 prior to that in Tallaght because shamrock rovers played in those.
We could have the league cup final in Limerick.
