From a friend - Limerick 4-1 up & cruising v a shite Cobh team. The Super Blues faithful are singing “Don’t wanna go up/Don’t wanna go up/this league is great craic/Don’t wanna go up”.

6-1 now. +11 goal difference after 3 games

Looking good for the quick return to top flight, how the fuck did they lose to Harps, they’re far too good for this league and should win without dropping 10 points.

Great crowd in there tonight too. Just under 1,600.

It was 0-0 after forty minutes before Stephen Kenny scored a tap in. After the break Mulhall and the impressive Aaron Greene made it 3-0.

Cobh got one back before the Super Blues ran amok and scored three late on from Garbhan Coughlan, big Robbie Williams and sub John O’Flynn.

Over 3.5 goals in every league game involving us and Limerick -1 is making me a lot of money so far this season.

Play Cobh away on Tuesday night in the EA Sports Cup but with a host of changes expected Cobh could gain some modicum of revenge.

Good shout bro

2-0 up away to Athlone within the first half hour. Paudie O’Connor and the entertainer Robbie Williams with the goals.

4-0 up now, sub John O’Flynn and Lee J Lynch with the second half strikes.

Finished 5-0, Duggan with the last one.

6 points clear after four matches, goal difference of plus 16.

Super blues -1 and over 3.5 goals after coming in for the fifth game in a row. It’s printing money. :ronnyroar: :pint:

At 2-0 it was looking a bit edgy, we had wasted an absolute bucketload of chances, the game was stretched and Athlone were finally starting to get confidence. Tracy somehow cleared one off the line and they conspired to fuck up a couple more before John O’Flynn scored with his first touch. A composed finish after some awful fuck-ups.

A 5-0 win is great, but there were signs of complacency already. But still, the gap in class is so apparent every time. I’d say Athlone were the most impressive of the teams we faced and we still slaughtered them. Their centre-backs dealt with Mulhall easily enough, their full-back closed Greene down a lot, they just couldn’t defend set-pieces and Kenny had the beating of their right-back. I thought Kenny was fantastic tonight, nearly always made the right decision, fought for everything.

Just back from Fortress Markets Field.

Probably our worst display of the season but still won 5-1. Level with 25 minutes to go before we steamrolled Shels late on.

Super blues -1 and over 3.5 goals comes up for the sixth game in a row - it has paid for my holiday in France this summer :pint:

With the hurlers winning too it has been a tremendous night for the genuine sports fans in Limerick.

Attendance was almost 1,400.

You are printing money :+1:

1-0 up away at Drogheda approaching half time.

First position Limerick with GD of +21
Second position Waterford with GD of +2

2-0 John O’Flynn

Lee-J makes it 3.

20 minutes to make our average of 5 goals per game, and for dodgy to continue winning his bet.

Come on, one more goal…,

Full time 3-0.

The over 3.5 goals streak end but a small profit overall from the -1 bet which comes up for the seventh consecutive game.

Drogheda missed an open goal late on apparently. Sickened.

We will have promotion wrapped up halfway through the season

Mick Wallace’s Wexford Youths being put to the sword in the EA Sports Cup last 16 round encounter tonight.

Greene and O’Flynn with the goals in the first half. Second half just commencing.

A night for strawberries, ironically enough. Smashing evening.
