There was war at the home leg - Some bright spark started singing ‘who let the Brits in, who, who, who’ … The Derry fans didnt like that

I was at that one. Derry fans nearly out numbered the Limerick ones.

Faherty had been ruled out after the weekend, he was never going to play. Connolly & Sullivan on the bench though, new keeper in though, they didn’t seem up for it.

Apparently Greene was injured; it would be very weird to rest the both of them. The cup should be our aim… to not even have them on the bench if it would be madness. Because once Lynch went off, we looked very very average going forward. Mulhall tried his heart out but Russell isn’t good enough and Mann doesn’t get on the ball enough. I’m going to presume they were both ruled out.

Hall was much better tonight, bar his kicking but that wasn’t all his fault tbf. Williams and his continued misjudging of headers though… infuriating.

I thought Mulhall was our best player tonight. A comfortable win against a lacklustre Galway.

@ChocolateMice @dodgy_keeper watch old TS being all coy here, Show us your medal mate.

You better believe it…

This has taken a very sinister turn… and my actions today are going to have serious consequences for another poster it seems. @TreatyStones - go easy on him when you get the low down.

EA SPORTS Cup: Limerick have been drawn away to Derry City in the semi-finals of the EA SPORTS Cup. Tie set for Monday 1 August. Shamrock Rovers were drawn at home to Saint Patrick’s Athletic in the other semi-final.

Ffs. The one draw I didn’t want and we duly get it.

Bank Holiday weekend at least, if I can get the Tuesday off work I’ll head up to Free Derry for it.
