Yes, the only full time team in the first division. I actually think they are one of the few teams to pay contracts for 52 weeks of the year also.
Very possibly, I was whinging about that for a good bit before the match.
It was one of the dullest 7-goal âthrillersâ Iâve ever seen, didnât really get going until Shels got their 2nd.
We were up early-ish too, missed the crash but yeah, they made a bit of noise alright. âHas Kinahan killed all your fans?â etc, etc.

Got caught up in the car park that became the M7 after the crash, lost an hour and twenty and missed the opening half hour of the match.
Thought we only played in bursts yesterday, never got out of third gear. Sean Russell has been fantastic since returning to the club, he was my MOM yesterday. As already mentioned above, no point being too critical of Holland, heâs young and still learning. This is as good an opportunity for him to learn now, with us being so far ahead of the chasing pack we can probably afford these errors.
On a separate note, itâs a shame to see Tolka Park so run down, could do with a lick of paint and some TLC in generalâŚ

Lucky to be still unbeaten after an injury time equaliser to salvage a 2-2 draw against Drogheda who were well worth a point, if not more.
The summer break is coming at the right time. We need Hall, Duggan and Greene back ASAP. Worst display of the season tonight and lucky to avoid defeat. Still 14 points clear with 15 games left so not exactly panic stations yet.

Was always bound to happen if we kept underperforming, and without some big players too. Drogheda were decent enough tbf, although after the OG, the game opened up and we had a few chances to go 2-0 up.
But you could hardly say they didnât deserve it, even with Hollandâs mistake. He had had to make a few saves before it and Russell clearly didnât trust the bench.
The break will do us no harm, hopefully get Greene back on the pitch. Heard a rumour that Hall is gone for the season⌠probably need to sign someone if that is the case.

A lot of that sounds like absolute bullshit.
Moore arrived overweight on day one and was stone bloody useless - he was given a chance out of sympathy. He had as much pace as rush hour traffic going through Adare. A first touch that was a tackle.
Sounds like complete bull. The wages thing, if true, is unacceptable. Rest of it sounds bollocks.
Pat Sullivan is all about promoting a positive image of the club, wouldnât be surprised if he takes this further. Christ, if he thinks Bruff is bad heâd have lost his life if he was put up in Rathkeale around Christmas time.

Cabinteely 0-2 Limerick
Straight off the plane from the Euros to the slightly less auspicious settings of Stradbrook. A bit of a change from 50,000+ fans going mental after a last-minute goal⌠100 people trying to shelter under one tree, and bare,y raising a cheer for either of the goals.
Again, not a convincing performance, Cabinteely had their chances early on but a Shane Tracy free-kick put us a goal in front. Cabo werenât a threat in the second half and McSweeneyâs goal alone was worth the entrance free, in what was a pretty dour affair. Lovely dinked shot from outside the area from the youngster, who was hugely impressive when he came on- first time Iâve really seen him. Greene & OâFlynn were on the bench in case we had to win, Duggan still out but there was a certain amount of experimentation. Whitehead ended up in midfield, Costelloe came on on the wing, McSweeney played in the hole, Russell dropped to left-back.
Another win, extending the lead at the top again.
Had a few people contact me about the Jordan Moore story when I was over in France. Sounds pretty bizarre, poor fellaâs head has also been affected it would seem.
