I enjoyed this reply from Longford about that tweet.
The twitter is obviously some fan doing it for free. Itâs not like they can be spending money on a social media manager. Even though you could argue a good one could pay for themselves in getting extra people to games etc. But given they canât pay the lads that actually play, theyâll hardly be doing anything like that.
The club can confirm, that we are at an advanced stage of negotiations with an investment group who we have been talking with since last July. The group have a firm business plan and strategy in place. We share their vision, values and core objectives for the club. We had hoped to make a formal announcement this week, however some additional time is required for legal documents to be finalised. This is due to one of the main parties involved being away on other business matters. Sean Connor has been representing the investors at the club this week and has been preparing the ground from a procedural perspective, to allow for this strategy to be implemented.
Sean has significant experience in League of Ireland and we look forward both to working with him and to the completion of this deal in the coming days. It will bring certainty and structure to the Clubâs affairs and will alleviate the current stresses around the club. We believe that the future of the club is bright. The new investorâs believe in Limerick FC and in The City of Limerick.

He then had brief and highly unsuccessful spells coaching in Africa with Zimbabwean side [CAPS United] in 2012 and South African club [Black Leopards] in 2014.

Itâs ominous if Connor is getting involved. (And thatâs outside of him previously getting a prison sentence for driving uninsured - which he successfully appealed)
Google him there and see why he was ousted from BohsâŚ
Iâm in. What could go wrong.
Jesus his Wikipedia page reads like a character assassination.
The lads in Asia have latched on to Bray since approximately 2pm it appears.
Limerick opened @ 5/4 and are now 5/2.
I will be signing in in approximately 2 hours from the Markers Field and will report any suspicious defending/ betting patterns.
Only 4 subsâŚ
@Copper_pipe would like to make it clear to the forum that he was not the one in the Markets Field holding a election poster saying âFuck Sean Connorâ (It was written on the back with a marker.)
Limerick take the lead.
What a strike!

The Blue Army have set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for Seanâs medical expenses.
Darren Murphy converts a pelanty to make it 1-1 away to Drogheda. 65 minutes played.
There was a batch of the super blues over at chawkes deli at lunchtime today. They went back over to the kilmurray, I guess they were meeting there to travel. A deli wrap or brown bread sandwich is good feeding before hitting the road.
BTW how come they have so many with English accents?
