Super Bowl LVIII - Viva Las Vegas 🐐

They were saying the same about Malik Willis last year

Ramsey to the Dolphins for a 3rd and a TE, il miss Deebo trucking him over twice a year, one of the most overrated corners in the game.

Gesicki?
Asking for a friend :man_shrugging:

Hunter Long, basically just a 3rd round.

I may be wrong but I think he has massive potential to improve into something very good.

Has wheels and potential to sling it every bit as good as say Tua.

Nah he doesn’t. Great red zone, highlight reel player but he is so poor at the simple basic stuff that a QB needs to be able to do.

He will have some success as a runner and if the bears can get a competent defence but he is very mediocre at the bread and butter stuff you need a QB to do on third downs, in red zone, playing from behind, identifying blitzs etc He is a dynamic runner but hard to see him holding up physically.

This interception sums him up as a pocket passer.

Is it not fair to say his receivers ain’t up to much bar Kmet though, and he was mediocre to good.

Anytime he aired it out there wasn’t much bar Mooney to take aim at.

He’s not on about dropping bombs for 50-60 yards. He’s on about very basic game management and reading defences - a lot of the time you take what a D is giving you. Fields has probably earned another year but he has shown none of the above…

They looked like they could have a serious offense if they just had a conductor last year alright. The defense is excellent too.

I’m just worried Rodgers might be a touch past it. To my (very) untrained eye he looked to have lost a step last year

Holy fuck

The D really needed upgrading :joy:

He had no offensive line and no Defense as well.

no loss at all. 1 TD in 2 years at the Patriots, a tight end friendly franchise. I thought he’d be cut, at least they got some sort of pick, even if it is at the end of the draft

No chance. They got the number 1 pick last year but played more like a bottom third team than the worst team in the league. They traded away basically their entire defense and were playing scrubs but were still competitive. They can only get better on that side of the ball and Fields is going to win them a few games. Whether he is the right person to win it all remains to be seen.

Frees up space to potentially sign someone or re-sign one or two who could hit FA.

I see they’ve just re-signed Jonathan Jones

Jimmy G to the Raiders
Stidham to the broncos

Makes sense for McDaniels but doesn’t make them any more relevant
