What are they classed as again I don’t think they fall into the private school category? I know the likes of pres, Cristians, Belvo etc the teachers are paid by the state same as public schools.

They dont. Private schools receive no capitation grants from state. Thats why fee paying schools cost state less than public schools.

I’d say that’s good news for your young lad @ChairmanDan, that announcement sounds quite certain, may require a bit of rejigging in the schools because there will be teachers who can’t or won’t return

You’ve an awful problem with teachers mate. Is there a specific reason for it? Were your teachers all useless?
I’d a couple of crap teachers, but I had some absolutely brilliant teachers as well. I suppose it’s the same as any job (teachers, doctors, guards, forklift drivers, chefs, accountants, IT specialists) - you’ll get some good and some bad

I think another factor is that they struggled in school and think the teachers should have been able to make silk purses from sows ears.
