What are they classed as again I don’t think they fall into the private school category? I know the likes of pres, Cristians, Belvo etc the teachers are paid by the state same as public schools.
What’s SeeSaw
It’s an online learning app. Reviews are mixed. Up and down
They dont. Private schools receive no capitation grants from state. Thats why fee paying schools cost state less than public schools.
I stand corrected so, genuinely thought they also received
Even in Carlow…?
I’d say that’s good news for your young lad @ChairmanDan, that announcement sounds quite certain, may require a bit of rejigging in the schools because there will be teachers who can’t or won’t return
But Norma said she consulted all ‘stakeholders’
Poor teachers are stressed and don’t want to work.
Poor, poor teachers. The only profession that have to deal with stress.
The poor teachers.
They want to do everything in their power for the good of the pupils, short of teaching…
If some of your colleagues won’t return to work they should be stripped of their wages.
No more about it.
Ah ya, it’s hard to imagine that anybody would have concerns about going into a confined area with 12 other people, no masks or social distancing for six hours a day
Where there’s work, teachers will always find excuses not to do it.
Rather be in the basement in portlaoise
I’ve no idea why people have a problem with teachers, I’m guessing they have more of a problem looking after their own kids
It’s the holidays that drive lads demented.
You’ve an awful problem with teachers mate. Is there a specific reason for it? Were your teachers all useless?
I’d a couple of crap teachers, but I had some absolutely brilliant teachers as well. I suppose it’s the same as any job (teachers, doctors, guards, forklift drivers, chefs, accountants, IT specialists) - you’ll get some good and some bad
I think another factor is that they struggled in school and think the teachers should have been able to make silk purses from sows ears.
Nail on head.
