In fairness to Galvin, he fist passed about 90% of the ball he had in hand.
Dooher was a fantastic footballer. Heart of a lion, scored points when they were needed the most and played honestly in a team where integrity and courage were frowned upon.

Donnacha Walsh was a miles better and more effective footballer than Galvin.

Look back at him. He just tossed it off to whoever was near.
He was my favourite Dublin player to watch but when you see the other names beside him to choose, I find it hard to make a case for him in getting job done versus being great to watch

The competition is ridiculous. I suppose Connolly hasn’t done the stand out performance (apart from Tyrone in maybe 2011) but the lad is dripping with quality.
He also had a huge impact in 2017 at half time against Mayo.

If you search for Paul Galvin on YouTube you’ll get loads of videos of him promoting himself or letting his team down and getting sent off. Not much in the way of his football highlights because there’s not much there to show.

Marc O’Se was a disgrace granted but I think Galvin is more deserving.
