TFK Bogball Team 2000-2019 Half Forward Line

Is this team being selected on YouTube pieces? I’d say the Kerry weirdo who would put together YouTube tributes to forwards might be a bit busier than his Tyrone equivalent due to volume of candidates over the last 20 years, don’t read too much into it.

If any Kerry half forward that should be in contention it’s Donnacha Walsh.

O’Sullivan was a nice footballer but could let a lot of big games pass him by, Galvin was a shaper, Hassett was Galvin without the optics, Cooper should be considered for the FF line but it will be hard put him given his inability to impact the big games, too early for O’Shea.

Walsh was the one player who could be counted on to turn up for the big games, was good on the ball and got through a mountain of work.

But I wouldn’t have Walsh in ahead of the three I picked.

It would be a reel of highlights of games against Cork and Mayo because bar Donaghy against Armagh, they couldn’t get a sniff v Ulster sides, collectively.

By the way - Francie Bellew scored reasonably well in the vote.

I’d have Marc O’Se easily before that joker.

Francie got the cult vote.

I’d fancy Francie to do a job on a forward over Marc O’Se any day of the week all the same.

He’s a load of rubbish.

So was Marc O’Se.

I’d say they beat at least 1 Ulster side on their way to each of the 6 All-Irelands they have won this century. No doubt these will be Ulster sides that make up the bear pit of Ulster championship in June, but will be useless when Kerry beat them in July/August.

Evan Kelly got an All Star.

Let that sink in.

That goes for Steven Bray too

Bloody hell,

Only.

Imagine if an Ulster side only had to face one Ulster side each year, it would be SFs and finals every single year for them.

Beano has no All Star, but Steven Bray has

Ross Munnelly has no All Star, but Evan Kelly has

Puts a big asterisk beside Galway’s win.

Tyrone only faced 1 Ulster team in 2006, and then Laois knocked them out of the championship. If only it was that easy.

PaulFlynn KieranMcDonald Sean Kavanagh ( didn’t pick him midfield)

What’s the furthest laois have got in last 20 years? Did they ever get to semi’s? What round were they bet year they won leinster?

Aye.

They lost to the Ulster side they faced.

Armagh in the quarter final.

Lost to Mayo after a replay the year McDonald sliced over to beat Dublin.
