Not really. 2nd is usually ok on the intercity trains. But PKP needs the money so please book first. They give you a free tea and a biscuit. Most trains have six person compartments in each carriage. Handy if you are in a group. Need to check if alcohol is sold on trains again. It was banned for a few years.

Got an email telling me the ticket portal was reopened, but then it’s impossible to get on to the site. Gonna get tickets for Poland-Russia if I can. I hesitated when they were up a few times before the portal closed, regretting that now.

For any of ye flying into Warsaw, the train station at the airport opened last week. It will be possible to connect into the central station where all the inter city trains run from.

Zywiec, Tyskie, Okocim, Lech. Plus the main european brands. There are also a lot of local regional brands. Mainly lager.

I’m staying in the Carlsberg fan camps, so there’ll be Carlsberg there anyway. Supposed to be free pints given out during the matches on big screen too. Anyone else staying there?

There’s also a beach volleyball court in each camp. Somehow i feel, the vision I have in my head of this won’t come to pass…
