He also told me thereās a prominent Irish Rugby player thatās gay but he wonāt tell me who.

I thought they were all gay? Why else would they touch each other like that?
I knew about this from other players, my relatives in Cork and from watching his goalkeeping displays over the past 10 years or so.
True it wasnāt by coincidence that heās one of the best stick and ball handlers in the game!(Iāll get my coat!)
Fellas in the 2nd row regularly touch their team mates ball sacks whilst now and then others grab a lad by the arse and throw him in the air.
jesus puke, its not like there is anything wrong with been gay is there now, ?? your making it sound as if that been gay is a crime or somethingā¦ ok, someone on here ( and it wasnt me) obvioulsy mistook lohan for been a rampaging sodomite, ok so hes not,
i thought we were all very tolerant and respectful now in munster hurling circles,
your tone here puke clearly outlines the hatred the people of clare have for homos and their āfearā that their most famous son may be of this particular persuasion

Not one bit homophobic but I donāt like ot see anyone besmirch the legend that is Brian Lohanā¦He is socrsanct
it will be a brave manager who drops a homosexual goalkeeper, wont it.
a very brave man.
Ruins my theory though that women and gay people canāt play sport.
Just narrowed down to the women now.

theory still stands
Sport/sporting hobbies whatever
I dont know why anyone would be suprised by this.
He would often wear a glove.
How more blatant a signal of homosexuality do you want?
still an all there must have been a lot of "questionable " activity in that clare dressing room with āfingersā oā connell and ger āsparrowā o loughlin prancing about.
many of these chaps are still bachelors too i believeā¦
Shocked NCC hasnāt been on your back over this. Why is someone socrsanct from being gay? Surely this would indicate you donāt see gays as equals, or maybe even as men.

Been a bad week for the gay community. First Gately dies then this cunt tries to join your gang
Everyoneās saying heāll sell a lot of books but would the gay thing not put off a lot of fellas who usually read GAA books?
Certainly I can imagine older relatives of mine, hardcore GAA men, baulking at the prospect of reading about sordid homosexual behaviour.
Sounds like youāre hanging around with a load of bigots there Thrawneen.
I might read it, depends if there is a decent section on Midleton CBS.
Thats how it works I believe, one has to die for another to join. Cant go over the quota.
Does this mean Donal Og is a āmade manā in the gay mafia now?
You can be sure of it he is,the Indo has gay is good groups queueing up to congratulate him on this positive step and laud his good influence on young gay boys everywhere, the GAA in Cloyne and Croke Park have refused to comment one way of the other for some reason.
checked to here
All the lads doing their best to brush this off as no big deal and saying āsure we all knew this for agesā are missing the whole point of why this is such a massive Irish sports story and such an amazingly brave thing for the cunt* to do.
I canāt think of one other sportsman, in any country, at least definitely not in a popular team sport, who has come out as openly gay while still playing. In fact I canāt think of even any golfers or tennis players or the like where at least you wouldnāt have to deal with teammates etc.
This is a ridiculously brave groundbreaking move and itās even madder that the first openly gay sportsman Iāve heard of comes from the supposedly backward world of the gaa.
He definitely deserves a :D. Could have easily just stayed in the closet like all the thousands of gay soccer, basketball, american football, rugby etc etc players thereāve been in the past.
*heās still a cunt.
