Inistioge?
If you donât care why does it bother you? I donât watch or want to watch 99% of RTĂ productions and wonât watch this, but I donât see why it should bother. @dodgy-keeper the same. There is a vast amount of media space given to nobody z-list celebrities in Ireland. Itâs avoidable, so is this, so why does this in particular bother you?
I also do think itâs still relevant. There is still a lot of stupidity and homophobia in Ireland. And even among more accepting people there is surprise that gay people are as normal as anyone else, that a top intercounty GAA player could be gay and not a some sort of caricature out of The Birdcage, or the Rose of Tralee winner could be gay and not stomping about the place in dungarees and doc martins.
To me, what @dodgy-keeper and @thedancingbaby display is grudging acceptance as long as they keep their gayness out of sight.
One of your problems anyway.

In a year or two when he has a bit of football played heâll do a big exclusive nod explain it all.
Most addictions are escapism. What was he escaping? Tyrone.
Most addictions are escapism is one of a large number of theories, not a fact. McCarron is not a bright lad, he made loads of mistakes in his life and has displayed scant regard for it how it effected those around him. When he left Tyrone it was because he had burnt bridges with a lot of people who had went on a limb for him.
mullinahone, Shanahoe, Carroroe⌠these types of places.
I know no county with an opera house can be deemed narrow minded or bigoted.
Effected.
Youâre going into a very murky area here.

Give them an inch Glas and God knows where it will lead.
Theyâll want marriage and to become parents next.

They might even start drinking in straight pubs next, then we will all be fucked.
Iâm not that way inclined myself but off you go. I hope Cusackâs media work makes you more comfortable with your preferences.
Come to think more and more people have taken to drinking at home in recent yearsâŚ
Donât flatter yourself mate.

As well as the fact itâs likely that RTE hounded him to do it for a few years and he eventually got the time and they have him a load of money and free travel to do it. Why wouldnât he?
This. Is. Brilliant.
Cork Camogie has a better story.
I know what Implied there, mate. I didnât need it pointed out to me.
He must not have burnt too many seeing as he is back.
Must be a forgiving nature to some tyrone folk.
One thing that confuses me about Donal Og - he calls himself an engineer yet heâs a sparky?
Whatâs that?

Yes.
I think people saw how low he went and felt sympathy for him, there is probably nothing more wrong, grotesque or humiliating than performing gay sex acts for money.
