Having looked at the stats last night for the past week. 372 accounts have logged in between Monday 1st and Friday 8th but only about 140 have posted.

Hannon is a good centre back, as is De Burca, as were Conor Ryan, Liam Rushe etc. Hannon has played well there for limerick but the others also stood out and dominated at centre back yet they didn’t make the list either.
It’s not a slight on Hannon or the others listed above but those nominated were all lads who were excellent intercounty backs for five years + in this era. Brian Corcoran was still outstanding in the early 2000s but didn’t get a nomination as he was done by 2002 as an intercounty defender. None of the lads left out would be out of place on the list but I am trying to be consistent here with the nomination process

Any lad I chatted to said you’d be black and blue walking off the field after being marked by Noel hickey. There’s an art to it and he defo had it. Daithi can sometimes be borderline reckless

He was as tough as any hurler I’ve seen take to the field. On top of that he could hurl and can’t recall him getting sent off too often.

Cant remember him at all.
He played a season or two at centre back and won an all Ireland medal. But he played for Clare as opposed to Hannon who played for limerick so gets a nomination based on the pro-Clare anti-limerick criteria.
