All three are/were good players. It’s a beauty is in the eye of the beholder and Limerick lads are entitled to think Hannon is better than those two. Conor Ryan was finished due to illness by 24. Hannon only became a centre back at that age.
I would be surprised if many Tipp fans would swap Maher for Hannon. Or vice versa, it’s an opinions game. But lads want to make it into a bigger slight than it is

Of course he is. You don’t need to see him play club to know that. I posted a video of him attempting to fillet TJ Reid in a Leinster SF. Burke is a quality hurler, a serious competitor, and he has a streak of filth. That’s exactly what you want in an inter-county full-back.

Who had Burke struggled the most against in his intercounty career? I can’t really remember him being cleaned.

Skehill ruined him a few times. Doctor from Waterford whose name escapes me cleaned him in the league. Left the panel shortly after. Devine maybe?
He played the next season and gave it up after the cleaning from Mike Casey!!!
