Not as much as I used to Mike, Iâm probably doing about 12 trips a year now as opposed to 25/30. Glad to be cutting down, I enjoyed it for a while, particularly a stint I was doing to Italy a while back which involved 2 nights away a week. Itâs become fairly draining though, especially the day trips.

Not that lad. Iâll tell you something about that lad though, we were in a tricky house deal, and I asked him to have a look. He suggested a way around the issue, looked at me, and said there was another way which would need it front loaded with cash, and then said he would lend it to me. No strings, no guarantee, nowt. A lot of money. I declined, but itâll stay with me til I spin off this mortal coil.
How do lads counteract jet lag coming back from the West coast? Fairly knocked for 6 here got in yesterday afternoon but was wide away til 6 am this morning
I find it worse flying over there. Wake up really early no matter how late I go to bed. Melatonin can help a bit.
Go to bed at your regular time tonight. Youâll adjust in a day or two.
8 hours is a killer. Just comes at you in waves, you go from being utterly shattered to being wide away in almost an hourly cycle
For next time
Melatonin. Buy it in America. Take it at the time youâre aiming for normal sleep where youâre going.
Tactical drinking also helps.
