Youâd want your head examined to be putting your child in creche these days
Sure youâve that risk for every meeting you schedule. Could be a crash on a motorway that delays you. It happens from time to time to everyone.
Happens loads with train travel in the UK
Actually got a âdear parentsâ group text from the crèche this morning to notify us that there will be a letter waiting for us this evening. They left it hanging like that. Iâd say people are fearing the place will be closing down due to spiralling insurance costs (thanks Alan Farrell, Maria Bailey & FG) but letâs see.

Strike 2?
Heâs seething
A poster on here mentioned something in recent days. Canât reminder who it was now but it was along the lines of capitalism is king, you work your arse off and fuck the rest. It inspired me.
Iâm not even sure I will have the necessary laser like focus for my next meeting

What was in the letter? The suspense has been killing me
Price increase in the wake of spiralling insurance costs due in part to fake claims by Fine Gael TDs.
VĂłtĂĄil Sinn FĂŠin.
Fuck it anyway, weâre boarding.
Travelling to Karlsruhe first week in March as some supply chain issues with a contract manufacturer came up. This is immediately preceded by 2 weeks paternity leave. The week over in Germany will come at an opportune time in terms of catching up on sleep. Sleep deprivation is real. I find myself hearing things wrong, making mistakes and bumping into walls that have always been there.

Man up to fuck will you.
I have spent a good bit of time in Karlsruhe. Nice place, a real adminsitrative city. Very clean and flat if a little dead in the evening.
I would highly recommend the Blaue Reiter hotel is a very nice business hotel. The bar is excellent in it where they brew their own hefeweizen onsite in huge vats.
Iâm flying to innsbruck on Sunday on easyjet, which I usually avoid like the plague, but Iâd imagine it will be full of middle class brexiteers and sixty year old men pretending to be in the stone roses.
Iâll get a half an hour sleep in the car there now in the underground as soon as I clock off for lunch and Iâll be as right as rain again.
Honestly, I despair sometimes.
Donât worry. Youâll fit right in.
Must check it out. I have stayed there before but wasnât impressed with small boutique hotel last time so will be changing it up this time. I am flying into Frankfurt and renting a car. Last time I got one of those Ice trains. The car will give me more independence and I wont have to stay too central. Its a nice compact city. Samsung have a place nearby and there are 2 big engineering and nursing universities. I was looking for a hotel with a gym and a swimming pool but they dont seem to do them in Karlsruhe but the huge Vats of Hefeweizen sounds more appealing and what I might need. Did you ever go up to the thermal suites in Baden Baden?
