I spent 100CHF on a taxi, so swings and roundabouts

Ahhh go check on the bunkerā€™s ventilationā€¦.

are you doing an inter rail or is this actual business travel?

Thereā€™s hardly a sign up in the place to indicate it.

TBF mate, Iā€™d imagine a bunker would be preferable at this stage.

Just booked to go to dar es salaam in April.
Flying via Doha. Plane looks like it lands in Kilimanjaro also but you donā€™t get off. Gruelling enough. Leaves manc at 9pm. Arrives Doha at 615am, 2hiur45 wait then another 8 hours :grimacing:
4 days works and the same back. :face_vomiting:
Flying Qatar airways and the cunts are trying to get you to pay 100 extra to reserve your seat even in business.
Might do it for the Kilimanjaro leg so.im beside the window.

Fuckin hell man thatā€™s ridiculous. Fly from Dublin and get a bus / train back to Cork. Youā€™ve completely mugged yourself off as @Fagan_ODowd has alluded to

Train to Dublin is 2.5 hours, 30 mins say to Dublin airport from Heuston, 30 mins security, fly to destination, 2 hours - same difference Iā€™d say.

Vs a night train??

Iā€™d say @Locke turned up to the meeting in a pair of sandals wearing four leather wristbands.

A lad getting a night train for business travel and justifying it to himself by spending 100 CHF on a taxi. I donā€™t know how to deal with this at all at all

The remnants of the breakfast on the train still stuck to his cargo shorts

Eireagle or Aircoach is the job here. You would want your head examined using the train to get to Dublin Airport.

I wonder what the Austrian is for ā€œthereā€™s a bit of a Peggy Dell off of this ladā€

Poor misfortunate @Locke getting a bit of a pummelling in this thread and we havenā€™t seen any of the frothy glasses of beer he normally gets lamped with.
In all fairness if these parsimonious bastards continuously treat their staff in this fashion Iā€™d tell them to fuck off with their foreign travel. They seem to be miserly hoors but our intrepid warrior seems keen to inflict additional hardship on himself.

On the other hand he could be happy stretching a 2 day trip into 4 and avoiding school runs, homework and assorted other duties that go with being a top dad.

Jaysus, youā€™re taking the long way to get there, we flew direct from Schiphol with KLM years ago

Thatā€™s the problem when you live in a backwater like Cork

Best route timewise.
Iā€™ll be in bits for 3 days after I get back. Iā€™m going full Mick Muldoon and bringing a bag full of protein bars. No local cuisine after last time.
You can transit in Schiphol but it only left 45 minute transfer time, or 14 hours. I just didnā€™t fancy the gnawing anxiety of a 45 minute transfer

Er stinkt

But in a funny accent
