A ridiculous amount of free lunches passing my mouth of late too.[/quote]
No wonder thereā€™s so many fat hoors on here trying to shed weight,if ye took yer heads out of the trough ye wouldnā€™t be walkin around with 28 inch legs and 36 inch waists

Itā€™s one that never grows old, Iā€™ve even overheard some of my work colleagues passing it off as their own

I know posters will have been on tenterhooks overnight so Iā€™m relieved to announce that Iā€™ve successfully completed a suit purchase transaction. Bless certain London tailors and their ridiculous 7am opening times. All systems go for my 8.45am now, chaps.

I am in Singapore this week. An interesting place.

Now Bland-age, thatā€™s International Travel!!!

Pretty much the same here, aside from a couple of packs of coffee, sweets and cachaca to bring home I havenā€™t spent a penny in two weeks

If this was Championship Manager Bandage would be showing 20 for Agility and 20 for Reflexes right now. A key attribute of a successful international business traveler is the ability to deal with unexpected challenges.

Canā€™t wait to see him in the 51 later to hear all about the trip and also to see what gift he got me.

+1.

My ā€œCoping with Adversityā€ training course has really stood to me, bt.

Youre all just a bunch of cunts on jollies. If you were serious business people youd be videoconferencing and teleconferencing instead of wasting time and money on travel.

briantinnion made the key point about face time earlier. Itā€™s important to eyeball business friends and foes in person, artfoley.

Multi million pound deals donā€™t get done by a video call fooley FFS sake

+1

When big money is switching hands, you need to look a guy in the eye.

Yeah and hand over the luck penny.

Correct fagan you canā€™t give luck money on skype

You can talk all the shite you want over the phone fooley but if the going gets tough you know your adversary can make up some stupid excuse to get off the phone and you wonā€™t have a hope of getting him again. If you can corner the cunt in a room he canā€™t slip away as easily and you have a much better chance of hammering out a deal

Oh my. That is just so ignorant that I donā€™t know where to begin.

Bullshit. If you cant close over the phone youve no business doing face to face. Clarkey, tinnion, appendage & fagan excepted I wouldnt trust any of ye cunts to close a door never mind a million euro deal. A bunch of sal levines is all you are

Selling woks maybe?

Closing a million euro deal over the phone. Dream on mate.

You are telling me a CFO will sign off on a deal of that size with some voice down a phone line or a video conference?

Perhaps some of the donkey work over the course of a large value sales cycle down be done over phone/video but face to face is vital at the various stages

Oh myā€¦
