TFK Opinion Poll 2 - leadership

A Grand Coalition of the left would be horrendous

It wouldn’t last a year.

Splitters

PBP and the Soc Dems are jokers… the Greens have no policies at all.

It would be a comedy show.

Is there any way FF could comfortably win the highest number of seats but have a government formed without them? Is that actually possible?

This is rough work but something like FF 55, FG 40, SF 30, Others 35.

A FG, SF and, say, Green coalition.

I’d just about stomach it… Going in with FF would send me over the edge.

SF confidence and supply arrangement with FF makes sense. Two centre left parties. Opposition from FG a centre right party.

What’s the English version of this? Snowden? I wonder is he related to Edward.

:rage:

Imagine the left trying to tackle union interests in the public sector and especially the health service

They would probably close hospitals altogether on weekends.

Imagine the right trying to tackle landowners and businessmen.

I’d love it if Martin was hoisted by his own petard. That said, I agree with him that FF and SF are incompatible, given FF’s stance on Irish unity leaves the DUP as their more natural bedfellows in the north.

That’s basically what happens already

That was the joke.

Oh a joke. I get jokes

Whataboutery

So speculating about a left wing government is fine but a right wing government is whataboutery? Interesting.

It would be great if we actually had a party to the right.

1% of the voters agree with you.
