TFK Travel Thread 2009

Ya, I have fierce problems with leg room alright

Jet Blue are the answer then, flew from McCarran to JFK with them. Thoroughly enjoyable flight.

Anyone been to Milan? Is it as expensive as everyone says it is or could you do a few days there on a relatively small budget?

Unless your going there to see a game specifically I wouldn’t bother my hole. The worst spot I was ever in I think. About 10 other places in Italy alone Id go to before there.

Where else would you recommend Dan? Would be going for about 4 days.

I was in Milan before for a few days but it was a football trip and I don’t recall much of it really. Apologies Mac.

You can’t look far past Rome for a city break in Italy if you haven’t already been there. I was absolutely blown away by the place.

Was it windy…

Rome is very nice, quite expensive though…

The island of Capri is also a lovely spot

Milan was shite alright. Rome and Florence are much better spots.
This must be your 4th holiday you’re booking this year and we’re not even in March yet!!!
Very affluent.

I’m thinking of downgrading my travel plans to just new york.
Trying to fit both NYC and Vegas just seems like a bit too much hassle to fit into one 7/8 day trip.

You could do Kilkee and Lahinch in that time no problem.

You could, but you see Kilkee and Lahinch are only about 20 miles apart, whereas NYC, Vegas and West Limerick are many many many miles apart.

Forgot you had been there before. What other holidays am I booking?

Are you travelling with Mrs Runt or a group of lads?

The bird

It’s all relative

3 odd days in Vegas would be plenty with the bird if it makes any difference. You can do a longer stint then sometime with a group of lads to get the benefit of it.

In West Clare? Yes, I believe they are all relatives.

Have you been to NYC before, Runt? Loads to do and see there obviously. There’s something about the place.

I have never set foot in the United States of America
