That's it ! everybody in RTE should be executed forthwith

He did the dirt on her

That’s some list of insufferable cunts.

Yep. Rte made contract staff sign documents waiving their rights… its fucking mental. The high profile stuff is the big money presenters but they’ve a whole heap of people employed permanently as ‘contractors’ over the last 15 years. They froze their reaction for a few years to see if they could wheedle their way out and then panicked and put every freelancer they’ve ever used onto permanent contracts. Mental.

I knew @artfoley was struggling when he started reverting to the Latin …a real tell tale sign a law man is cornered … de novo , stare decisis, prima facie …:stuck_out_tongue:

Good video, wasn’t sure to post it to here or the KillianM2 thread as he features heavily in this but just wanted a RTÉ moan anyway. They have really handled the digital age appallingly and I really resent that they are looking for another licence fee increase. They don’t know how to market what they have but instead want more handouts.

Dee Forbes has a led an organisation that has pissed away a significant portion of the State’s value of excess lands around Donnybrook - aside from a new entrance and a new studio I believe most of it has found it’s way into redundancy and pension pots. They lucked into Covid after they threatened to shut down an actual public service/non commercial enterprise in the form of Lyric FM.

This is after a decade plus of refusing to sell the marketable assets they had which had limited public service value like 2fm. Now they want more but in the digital age they still can’t figure out how to put up documentaries online that are proven to garner lots of views on YouTube. They still want a Broadcasting Licence so they can catch all the millennials just using their laptops to watch things but they can’t deliver a functional player to watch their current programmes.

John Mcguinness making shit out of poor Claire here.

The Poor Claires :sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

She’s not very comfortable talking about people in the public sector on high salaries for some reason.

What’s the topic of discussion?

Robert Watt is one of the very few public servants getting paid more than Claire.

In fairness to Justin McCarthy he wouldn’t let Paul Reid wriggle off the hook with his corporate babble this morning over the CAMHS fiasco. Paul was dialing in from the Sligo studio. He must be wfh today.

Paul talked a lot without saying much at all

He did but your man kept coming back to the supervisor question. CAMHS is a tragic set up. You have thousands of parents trying to get their children onto the programme and for those lucky few that do get their kids on to it it is an epic and under resourced clusterfuck. Not just in South Kerry. And there is almost nothing in the way of private mental health care for adolescents in Ireland. So there are no alternatives.

With covid behind us to an extend, focus will return to general state of health is in ireland
Justin one of the better ones on Morning Ireland

I only realised during the summer that he is the son of the great hurling man Justin McCarthy
