2FM Breakfast Show had a party on one of his boats last year I think.
That was a couple of loaves of their sourdough and one of their branded tote bags when you inevitably forgot to bring your own during lockdown.

I think you underestimate how many listeners never change the dial off Radio 1. My parents can’t stand Ray Darcy yet they listen to his show because it’s on Radio 1. Joe Duffy would lose huge listenership in a hypothetical situation where he’d switch to Newstalk.
