The 32nd Dáil Eireann

Considering the amount of independents the south east elected that’s some achievement.

Carlow/Kilkenny & Wexford both returned two Fine Gael TD’s. Outside of the leafy South Dublin constituencies and IndaKinny’s home patch of Mayo, there weren’t too many other constituencies returning two FG.

Great to see someone with real life experience like Simon Harris getting a tremendously important portfolio like Health.

Enda is an utter a cunt of a man.

Incredible stuff.

MMOC gets a job because she brought in a running mate.

He got the ‘Super’ Junior post at the Depth of the Taoiseach. He’s basically Josh in The West Wing.

He was probably hoping for Agriculture or the Tourism & Sport portfolio.

FG back benchers must be ripping at Naugthen getting the nod. If Varadkar has any sense he’ll be making the most of the resentment.

I’ve a new boss out of all of this. He’d better not fuck me about or he’ll be landed off of a cliff some day while he’s out waking the dog.

Not really a promotion from chief whip though. Especially when you see the list of ministers include Mary idiot o’connor, Simon Harris and so on.

Did his mate Patrick O’Donovan get any reward for bringing in a running mate and making us a nice profit?

Akin’ to “Doherty to Justice” from 82.

The difference being that Doherty brought the sulphuric agenda. ***

*** I’d canvassed with Doherty…Great days…:wine_glass:

I wouldn’t let most of them park my car

Is going from Chief Whip to best boy in the Taoiseach’s office a promotion or demotion for that simpleton from Wexford?

Gas how Hilter even got one of his henchmen in on the act.

Harris looks like super craic. I’d say he must be 50.

Sideways move I’d say. Safe pair of hands who’ll never be good enough to be a minister.

He was the quintessential rural TD of his era. I’ve often described him as The Great Fixer, whether it be major/minor offences.

In the nod/wink of his time he was outstanding, whether it be planning/grant availability/medical cards/whatever, you had only to ring (in the times) Cootehall 5.

A fair man to drink pints as well.
