It is hurling country.

Punches, kicks and mass brawls: The 1977 colours match had it all (via @IrishTimes) https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/rugby/punches-kicks-and-mass-brawls-the-1977-colours-match-had-it-all-1.3716115

The good old days.

The colleges ruined the fixture, it should be a much bigger deal on campus.

Bit like the English Varsity match generally played I think on the first Tuesday in December this game has lost some of its traditional lustre .

BBC always made a deal of the Blues game and twickenham was alway nearly full. there was often an Irish interest too .

@GeoffreyBoycott

The Barbarian Football Club play Argentina today at HQ . Will this be exhibition stuff or a quasi test match ?

Obviously worried about the cameras showing Murray snorting personal or something during the game.

They seem like very poor attendances

sadly it is, poor attendances with French and English fans rejecting the European competition

they will reform it on their terms imho

I’m embarrassed that I let my kids play rugby - David Walsh - Rugby in denial of the dangers of the sport, says Walsh.

Off The Ball break down his article and the findings of a NZ doctor/study that show’d Rugby players scored lower in cognitive function - and the NZ media censored this part when releasing the findings of the study.

Is david walsh a valid source again?
