City’s new training complex is meant to be out of this world. What they’ve done with that area of Manchester is a credit to the Club and the owners, no doubt you could tell us far more about it than I, but its meant to have to be seen to be believed.
I’ve not been in it, but as a lad once said to me, a nuclear weapon wouldn’t have made that bit of Manchester much worse. It was a dreary soulless place. As a pal of mine said to me a few years back " do you think you could get your mates in the IRA to come back and blow up the rest of the Armadale centre?" Manc can be a dark and hard place, but the people are sometimes an unexpected ray of light, and I’ve friends here I’d not trade.
