Dublin in trouble now. Forwards are scoring ok but the game is being lost in midfield and around the half back line where Kildare are dominating.
Henry’s doing ok at corner back but hard to tell who’s marking who the whole time. At least he’s cut out a few balls though and he’s been strong in possession.
Midfield and half back line need to organise themselves now and stop leaving guys in huge space. In fairness to Kildare all the forwards look capable of kicking points so they all need serious marking.
Another thing, although Henry is the only one of the full back line playing with any confidence (or competence for that matter), he’s on a yellow. In big trouble, but I’d say they’ll win it yet.
This is a fantastic match. I have been critical of Leinster football in the past but man this is superb stuff.
A huge amount of credit has to go to McGeeney. Kildare are an excellent team, tremendous attitude and most importantly good footballers. He seems to have instilled something in them - most teams would coallpse after the start Dublin got.
Looking forward to the second half now.
Here in croker. Tis class. Atmosphere unreal… Brennan was stupid. Kildare playing some football though, the difference between this and the muck that was in wexford park yesterday is incredible. Even the minor game before this was different class, that ended in a draw by the way, 1 10 each.

Yeah hadn’t thought of that. In fairness to him though he’s not the type to dive in on a guy going for a low ball so he shouldn’t be exposed to another yellow you’d hope.
I think Alan Brogan has been class too. Made the second goald and has used the ball very well.
