The Beatles thread

There biggest ever crowd was 55k in America.

They came back the following year and sold 45k tickets.

Doesn’t sound like they were great live anyways.

And looks like they threw the toys out of the pram In 1966 and refused to play live again.

I don’t think anyone is gonna hold your hand on this one .

I’ve no real strong opinion and are open to changing mind it just perked my interest.

Not playing live is what invariably thrown at modern bans.

These guys have catchy tunes nobody contests that but George Ezra has catchy tunes too.

:santa::santa:

You always quote completely random posts from months ago from me.

The obsession is bizarre and it’s getting towards stalker levels.

3 of the 5 were town hall levels of crowd.

DaFuQ?

What are you even trying to wum about here?
Themselves and the Beach boys pushed the boundaries here. But Brian Wilson was the genius dictating this battle- the Beatles in many ways were responding to him with their studio albums.

Like on most topics, you can fit the sum of your knowledge on the back of a stamp.

They are a studio band.

They were really a live band.

Sure you know nothing about anything. I’ve never heard you say anything interesting ever on anything.

So I’m not sure what your point is either.

Nearly sixty years old.

You got all this from 5 minutes on a horse racing podcast :grinning:.

Like i said, your brain is the size of a postage stamp.

Jesus I’m not. I’m laughing at it.

I suppose you’re tolerating him, and keeping him out of trouble he could be getting himself into elsewhere. You’re like an SNA.

Got what?

I just highlighted a different opinion and folk like you form opinions and can’t handle anybody have a different one seem to loose the plot.

I kind of like the Beatles but it just got me thinking.

Somebody else had a similar post about Mike Tyson possibly @Batigol who said he was overrated.

I think it’s interesting to listen to different views and opinions.

Does Abbey Road have the best side 2 in the history of recorded music?

I scanned through this. The only song I know is the yellow submarine which I associate with Irish weddings and lads having ties around their heads sitting on the dance floor of a hotel.

Yellow Submarine isn’t on Abbey Road.
