The Business Ideas thread

Babies don’t go out of fashion. South Dublin parents value sleep over tickling of their pockets. Time to apply your latex glove.

Interesting that your wife is encouraging you to hire a few fit good looking fellas for this business

Sauce for the goose I suppose

No idea if this is a wind up but, presuming it’s serious, why focus only on women? Fair enough daytimes but why not have it multipurpose so you’re not cutting your prospective business in half from the start.

Actually, I’ve changed my mind. What you want is to kit it out with a wood floor and mirrors. Your morning business is yoga teachers running their classes, these are always looking for decent premises. Your afternoons is a kids dance school. There are ladies making fortunes out of squash courts doing this shit. And back to yoga/ multipurpose in the late evening. Fuck all start up required and you only need a couple of decent anchor tenants.
Yoga classes have people paying 15 notes an hour or so, and you can have 25 mats in a room that size? Kids dance classes ? They’ll have 40/50 of them in ther.

Or a knocking shop for all the lads working in the industrial estate. Make sure to have specials for payday and regular rider cards, like when they stamp your card everytime you get a coffee.

I have this covered, back to work with you.

I can’t help it. I’m on fire today @carryharry. Taking bookings left right and centre. Scheduling some ridiculous days. I’ll have the Berlingo worn out ta fuck!

Monday is another day. Off you go for a swim to cool down.

South Dublin parents won’t bring their prescious kids to an industrial warehouse ffs sake.

There’s already a hoorhouse half a mile down the road.

So we’re settled on a dance/yoga studio?

@Mac you bought a 400K apartment 5 minute walk away from this place.

And a Reflexologist for small children.

This looks good but I’d need a manager and doubt it could fund one. I won’t be hands on.
Thinking one of the fitness monkeys will run it day to day.

You should crack the Irish porn market. Has to be an opening there.

Not at all, they all run their own operations. Both those areas are quite competitive so only the copped on ones survive and they are always looking for decent premises. I did yoga for a while in a function room of a hotel for fffssake. Once you have the right ones scheduled it’ll run itself. You’d certainly need more staff for a gym.

I can appreciate why you don’t want to be the face of the business, mate.

Wouldn’t work the unit is not big enough to have a dedicated space for yoga that might only bring in €20/30 an hour. I’m looking for a cash turnover here.
I’ll fit it out as your typical gym and focus on one on one consultation. Iv been put in touch with a fitness instructor who I’m meeting next week. He has a few bits going on but might take the mornings. I’ll get him involved in the fit out design and equipment spec etc to test him but also to keep him sweet over the winter if he looks like the right candidate.

If it’s where you say it is you’ll be competing with Ben Dunne and he’ll blow you out of the water
